Description
Going for the atmosphere of the Wild West with some breakbeats and D&B. The first third begins with a random throwback western instrumental into some downtempo tracks. Things become which more ominous and more bass heavy with a nice smooth finish of the timeless "Boy/Girl Song" into the crunchy & meldoic "Afterlife". Watch for the change-up blend of 'Drop it Like Its Hot' — snoooooooooooooooop!
The story
The last mix I did on my broke ass Numark mixer. Not a bad mixer, just poorly manufactured and packed with features to make it cheap and attractive. The main problem was that the faders would get crunchy and drop the left or right channel if the slider wasn't sitting just so. I had to use gain knobs and cross fader in this fashion that was fine but also just completely irritating.
